H1: Haultain and First Urban Festival will celebrate the achievements of Parks Foundation Calgary and the Victoria Crossing BRZ. At the center of it all will be Haultain Park, home to the oldest sandstone school in Calgary, and the site of Calgary's newest urban park and playground! Neighbouring Haultain Park is First Street SW, a street that has undergone an amazing transformation over the last five years and is poised to become a premier destination in the city.

This free community-based event will feature programming and activities centered around community, sustainability, and the urban experience. We will have an entertainment stage with live performances, buskers and street performers, a children's play area, exhibits, food, vendors and a host of interesting ideas around sustainability and innovative urban living.
