17th Avenue Urban Design Study

This study, initiated by the City of Calgary, is a project for 2005 to establish a set of guidelines for development on 17 Avenue South from Macleod Trail in the East to 17 Street in the West.

Among the objectives of the study is the creation of a definition of "character" for the corridor and identification of the different character areas within 17 Avenue, along with some design strategies for each.

Victoria Crossing will be involved in the study as a stakeholder, and we look forward to participating in the process. If you are a Victoria Crossing BRZ member who has a business in the area of 17 Avenue and would like to have input into the study, please contact the BRZ office at 265-2888.
